Hello! My name is Janet Matthews

In 2003 I  decided to take early retirement from my job as Headteacher of a Pupil Referral Unit. I felt instinctively that I wanted to be self employed in the field of holistic health - but wasn't sure exactly how. So I decided invest in various training courses to be :- a Life Coach, an Enneagram Teacher, an MBTI Instructor, a Metabolic Typing Advisor, a Naturopathic Consultant, but somehow never managed to get my act together to do anything of a professional nature with any this training and ended up drifting back into education, teaching pupils who were medical referrals and unable to attend full time school. Then suddenly last October, all my work dried up. Now I had no option but to look seriously at what was happening and start make some contingency plans.

As often happens in my life, events started to happen and doors started to open. A chance phone call from America - offering a mentoring programme to help me design and launch my own web site - came out of the blue one afternoon. Was it a scam I wondered? Well for some reason I decided to take a chance and two months later I was ready to launch my first site. It may  be a little basic at the moment, but at least I have found a way of making use of all my knowledge and expertise and my aim for the future will be to build up a site that is packed full of quality information and resources to help other people on their path to holistic health.

More recently I have become very interested the the subject of Environmental Awareness and would like to use my website to help create an awareness that will hopefully lead to action.
